Dura Max cares about their customers. So, this guide is written for customers who have issues in cleaning the Dura Water Tanks.
It would be best to clean your water tanks at least once a year, ideally twice. The procedure could appear challenging the first few times you clean a water tank. Shut off the water supply valve next to the water pump to clean the water tank.
Turn on your house’s water supply faucets and let the water flow out to empty the tank.
For cleaning the dura tank, you can select to use this water to fill buckets.
To avoid carrying the buckets down the stairs, fill them up using the taps on the first floor.
Use a ladder to descend into an underground tank or to ascend into an above tank from its trapdoor after the dura tank is as empty as feasible.
Use buckets to remove any extra water, then hand them off for disposal to persons outside the tank.
First, use mops to dry off the tank’s wetness completely.
Next, start sweeping and scooping up all the dirt and mud deposits at the tank’s bottom.
Using buckets, you’ll occasionally need to empty the tank’s rubbish.
Pay attention to the walls of the tank after cleaning the bottom.
To remove mold and algae development, use a stiff brush.
When necessary, mainly if mold develops on the walls, spray a disinfectant on the surfaces.
As you brush the walls, wash them with water from the buckets.
Using the ladder, exit the tank after cleaning the whole interior.
Ensure that you have removed all of your cleaning products as well.
Finally, fill the tank with water and disinfectant to keep the water clean and free of germs for as long as possible.
