What is PPRC?

December 7, 2021 //  by efficient

Because they are constructed of contemporary polymers, PPRC pipes are flexible and indestructible. This material also makes them lightweight, portable, and simple to use. PPRC pipes are commonly used for the following applications:

  • Within the structure, there are hot and cold plumbing systems.
  • Solar energy systems
  • Solar energy collectors
  • Air-conditioning systems
  • Air conditioning units
  • Piping systems in the industry

PPR raw materials are classified into three types based on their heat resistance, pressure resistance, and chemical resistance. These are Type-1 (polypropylene homopolymer), Type-2 (polypropylene block copolymer), and Type-3 (polypropylene block copolymer) (Polypropylene Random copolymer). Type-3 materials are more resistant to physical and chemical impacts than Type-1 and Type-2 materials. When you notice PPRC, it signifies that your pipes are made of Type-3 materials.

Used for PPRC:

In Dura, Type-3 raw materials are generally used for the pipe and fittings sector. They are to be used for their strong resistance to heat and chemicals. The raw material of PPRC is a fundamental key for PPR Pipes and fittings’ hot and cold-water systems. Moreover, the PPR raw material monomer plastic forms random chains and protects the pipe’s body. This prevents the growth of any biological substance (bacteria, for example) on PPR pipes and fittings. It also protects against smell and retains the flavor of the fluid as it is; in other words, it does not affect the taste. It may also be produced in any color. At ideal pressure and temperature conditions, the lifetime of PPRC pipes and fittings can reach 50 years.

Main Feature of Dura PPRC System:

  • With a temperature of around 20 °C and a pressure of 25 ATM, the battery has a lifespan of over 50 years.
  • It can withstand temperatures ranging from 20 ° C to +95 ° C. (The temperature of the fluid in the insulating must be taken into account.)
  • Because of the substance, it is long-lasting.
  • Extremely resistant to chemicals and heat.
  • The inner surface is brilliant and smooth.
  • When PPRC is utilized for plumbing, the water’s color, odor, and taste do not alter.
  • Insulates against heat and sound.
  • Fittings have no diameter twist. This results in one of the best potential performances.
  • Save up to 70% on installation and installation
  • Friendly to the environment

Cleaning a Water Tank?

November 29, 2021 //  by efficient

Cleaning a water tank is similar to cleaning a large bathtub, but more attention is paid to cleaning the interior.

Here’s a brief overview of the steps:

  1. Drain the water tank – If you have a large Cleaning Water Tank, flush the water to a location that will not inundate the surroundings. The dryer the tank, the better the outcome, so use a pump or wet vac to remove any water left over during the draining operation. Finally, use a towel to remove any remaining moisture.
  2. Scrub the interior – This is most likely the most crucial step in the cleaning procedure. You want to get clean of any dust, sand, or slime that has developed on the tank’s walls. Because some tanks don’t have enough room for you to reach in and clean the interior manually, power cleaners are an excellent tool for the job. If you don’t have a steam cleaner, use hard-bristled brushes, an adjustable-handled mop, or any other equipment that can be used at an angle. The goal is to reach every tank area and apply enough force to remove all slime and sand accumulated since the last cleaning. When you’re done, the tank should look like it did the day it arrived: spotless.
  3. Rinse the tank – Using cold water, wash out the unclean water collected during the cleaning operation. Because you’ll be washing again later in the cleaning process, you don’t need to go as thorough this time.
  4. Bleach the interior – Use your bleach solution (1 tablespoon of bleach for every gallon of water) to scrub the interior of the tank. During this step, you should wear disposable gloves and eye protection. Again, you can do this with your hands, but you must ensure you can reach every tank surface. The best tool for the job is a pressure washer, but you may also use a floor mop with an adjustable handle—whatever works for you.
  5. Let the solution sit – To disinfect the tank sufficiently, you’ll want to let the bleach solution sit for at least two hours. This will eliminate any unresolved bacteria or microbial pollutants.
  6. Optional: Clean the water supply lines – Your home’s water pipes may also be dirty. You can clean more than your Cleaning Water Tank by running your taps with the bleach solution. You can use a pump to move the key from the tank to the water supply and the rest of your home’s lines.
  7. Rinse out the tank – After the bleach has done its job, it’s time to rinse it. Because bleach is dangerous and should not be used in drinking water, you should be as thorough as possible. As a result, be sure that no bleach is left behind. If you run part of the solution through your water pipes, run hot water through your taps. Continue cleaning or running the water until all soap or bleach bubbles have vanished.
  8. Optional: Refill the tank partially – Now that the tank has been cleaned, sanitized, and washed of the bleach solution, fill it with potable drinking water.
  9. Optional: Measure chlorine levels – To ensure there’s no more bleach in the system, use chlorine test strips to test the water supply lines. You can proceed to the final stage if the levels are minor. If the chlorine levels are too high, go back to step 7 and rinse the inside until the levels are lower.
  10. Refill the tank- Now that the tank has been cleaned, sanitized, and washed free of the bleach solution, you can fill it up to the brim with drinkable drinking water.

Gate Valve

November 29, 2021 //  by efficient

Dura Max offers excellent PPRC Fittings products such as Gate Valve. Gate valves are used in the opening and shutting of pipes. Which are gradual; they cannot produce a water hammer. As a result, some organizations demand that the valve closest to the water meter be a gate valve. Gate valves are highly durable and perform admirably in settings where corrosion is a significant concern. Because this material can withstand high temperatures, it is often employed in manufacturing applications.

pprc

Gate valves are often used to control the flow of liquids in larger sections of pipes. They are specifically intended to prevent the start and stop of liquid flows. There are several types of gate valves. They can have rising or non-rising stems, solid wedges, flexible wedges, or split wedges. Here are the three most significant advantages of installing gate valves.

1. Full Open/Close Capabilities: Gate valves can be opened and closed completely. This permits goods to be conveyed to flow in a straight line with nothing impeding their progress. This is especially useful when working with bulkier materials that require unhindered flow.

2. Ease of Operate: The gate valve is effortless because it does not contain complicated mechanisms. The spindle wheel revolves to raise and lower the gate, allowing the valve to open and close the gate between its circular openings.

3. Damage Control: Gate valves are handy for halting the flow of liquids when partial discharge would otherwise cause irreversible damage to pipelines and systems. When the valve fully opens, the gate is not exposed to the flow of materials, preventing harm from strong material currents. This prevents the gate from bending or closing off-center due to the tremendous stresses of everyday material flow transit.

Why PPRC Pipes:

November 24, 2021 //  by efficient

Pipes are essential components of any plumbing system, and the quality of the pipe determines how dependable the plumbing system will be. Historians have discovered evidence of pipe-based plumbing systems in the Sumerian culture, believe it or not. Plumbing was done with clay pipes back then.

Technology has come a long way since then. Most pipes are now composed of synthetic materials, which are more dependable and endure longer. PPRC pipe Islamabad is highly famous in Pakistan. Let’s look at why these pipes are so popular and why installing them in your plumbing system is an intelligent choice.

Why Use DURA PPRC Pipes for Plumbing?

  • Corrosion Resistant:

Iron pipes were quite popular just a few years ago. The common misconception about these iron pipes was that iron is a potent substance and an excellent choice for plumbing. However, no one was considering the corrosion issue at the time.

The truth is that iron pipes frequently leak owing to corrosion. PPRC pipes, on the other hand, are entirely corrosion-resistant and never leak, even after years of usage. As a result, you may have confidence in the durability of PPRC Pipes.

  • UV Ray Protection:

To reduce corrosion, many individuals are installing PVC pipes. Although PVC pipes do not corrode, the sun’s UV rays can cause harm to them. As a result, PVC pipes should not be used in sunny places. Unfortunately, Pakistan receives a great deal of sunshine.

As a result, if you utilize PVC pipes in your structure, they will break within a few years. PPRC pipes, on the other hand, are impervious to UV radiation. As a result, even after years of usage, PPRC Pipes never need to be replaced. PPRC pipes have a substantially longer lifespan than PVC pipes.

  • Industrial Application:

In the industrial sector, PPRC pipes are quite popular. Any leak in the plumbing system can result in massive losses for any company. As a result, most industrial sectors choose a dependable plumbing system that does not require any maintenance.

PPRC Pipes are now the most dependable for industrial applications. These pipes are versatile and may be utilized in various industrial applications. As a result, employing these pipes in any building project saves money. As a result, PPRC pipes have become the preferred choice for most contractors.

You would be pleased to learn that DURA PPRC Pipes are manufactured in Pakistan. Pipe made of polypropylene. DURA is one of the major PPRC pipe makers. They sell PPRC pipes in large quantities. If you are working on a major construction project and want a significant amount of PPRC pipes, ordering straight from this manufacturer will save you a lot of money.
